Casinos can make a profit by offering these big bettors extravagant inducements such as free spectacular entertainment, luxurious living quarters, reduced-fare transportation and other bonuses. However, they cannot guarantee that any patron will win; every game offers a mathematical expectancy that gives the house an advantage over the players.
